LM Turpault Coat of Arms
Two coats of arms for a priest: a family shield and an ecclesiastical version. Starting from a 17th-century armorial entry, I explored helmets, scrolls and tassel knots in pencil, compared colour options, then redrew the final arms as clean vectors for print at 20 and 40 cm.

Heraldry follows strict rules, so the work started from the family's entry in a 17th-century armorial rather than from a blank page.

Pencil studies fixed the helmet, the scrolls and the knot of the tassels before any vector work. Colour options were then compared on the same drawing.

The final set holds the family shield, the ecclesiastical arms in colour and a line version for one-colour uses.
